$31.8M Capital Project — WBS & Budget Setup
What It Does
Designed and built the full WBS hierarchy for a $31.8M capital construction project (new R&D headquarters). Aligned all cost elements to SAP G/L codes, restructured budget line items across 10+ WBS categories, resolved $1.4M in budget allocation discrepancies, and prepared the structure for import into a proprietary project controls platform. Also produced equipment specification collection guides and coordinated budget template distribution to the project team.

Why I Built It
A capital project of this size needs a clean, auditable cost structure before any commitments can be tracked. I built the WBS from scratch to ensure every dollar is traceable.
What I Learned
Learned how to design WBS hierarchies that align with both SAP financial structures and project management software requirements. Deepened understanding of budget reconciliation at scale.
